I always loved walking around the city and looking for a shooting spot, explore the area, pinpoint my next “to come back" location. I would set up my gear and wait for the moment I had on my mind. Night lights are something that will always amaze and inspire me, it's relaxing and after you nail that shot, you get the light where you want it, that feeling cant be described.
There have been some really good walks, nights, where I felt really inspired and felt like I got ''the shot".
On other occasions, I didn't feel like it, couldn't get my shot. Sometimes it was the weather, sometimes the mood I'm in, or things just didn't work they as they should, but point is, I never went back home empty-handed, without any photos, no matter how I felt I still managed to get a good shot, create something that will make me proud, something that will make the day count, and something that will inspire others.
Never let a moment fade away.
It is raw, it’s unpredictable, it shows the soul of the moment you are shooting, it’s timeless, it’s emotional, it’s simply a beautiful way of telling a story.
How do you get inspired?
What do you do when you burn out?
It happens to all of us.
I just go out and explore new places, well, as soon as I have time to do so, adulthood, job, this and that, we can't always do what we wish to do, right?
So, use the free time, hours, days, you have and go out, get lost, explore. Use the time wisely to do what you love, create, write, draw, record music, just use your precious time.
It doesn't have to be a spectacular place, expensive, it can still be spectacular but only a couple miles away from your area, a place you never seen before, a farm, a lake, mountain, cave, waterfall, old train station, demolished mall, so much to see and fill your soul with amazing energy!
These images were created exactly at those times, I was just wandering and looking to get inspired, shake off my negative feelings and thoughts, let my creative side take over and enjoy the moment.
Creating landscape images, capturing nature, is another level of relaxation.
Just get out there.
