Who am I?

Hey, I’m Ricky (Rijan if we’re being formal), a Sydney-based wedding photographer with a documentary approach and a strong dislike for forced and uncomfortable posing.

I’ll get this out of the way early. I didn’t grow up with a camera glued to my hand, and I don’t have a “photographer since I was five” story. I picked up a camera later in life to capture moments with family and friends… and somewhere along the way, I realised how powerful it is to freeze real memories. The laughs, the nerves, the quiet moments, the chaos - that’s the good stuff.

My style is candid and documentary. That means I focus on what’s actually happening rather than forcing moments that don’t feel like you. I’ll guide you when you need it, keep things calm when they get stressful, and step back when the moment speaks for itself.

The goal is simple: help you feel comfortable, enjoy your day, and walk away with photos that feel honest, natural, and true to you.
